Npcc day

Dear Cadets, We will be celebrating NPCC day on the 23rd of May 2012 and for that we will be leading the school assembly on that day. Everyone are to wear their NPCC FULL-U on that day and to fall out outside npcc store by 6.50 and latest 7. we will then be reciting our NPCC pledge also. CCA Stand Down

Dear Cadets,

From 27 April 2012 CCA will stand down for the Mid-Year Examination. Please do take this period to do well in your studies and achieve your targets. CCA will resume 20th May 2012 and please do take note to bring the necessary attire for the training which will be told at a nearer dates. Thanks and do well for you Exams

UOPA 2011

Guys we have achieved GOLD for UOPA 2011. We thank our OC's, TO's and cadets who offered their help to our unit. We are always ready to work together so lets continue that spirit and continue getting GOLD and improving the standard of BNU. I do also congratulate other units who got GOLD

Camcraft Training

Guys from December every week Tuesday and Thursday there will be training on campcraft for the competition on February. There must be a total of two teams with 9actual+ 2 reserve. Those who are interested can come for the training this Tuesday from 9 to 1

NCO camp 2011

NCO Camp 2011 (19-22 Nov 2011)
- By the end of this camp, cadets will learn to build resilience, inculcate discipline and acquire relevant and necessary skills and knowledge.
- Participation is compulsory to fulfil the basic requirements of NCOs who will then take on leadership positions to run unit operations in mid-2012.
- Failure to participate in this camp would mean that promotion to Sergeant and beyond will be denied until the cadet participates in the next annual NCO camp.

Attire
* Full NPCC Uniform with headdress - 1 complete set
* NPCC T-shirt (includes one worn on first day) - 2
* PE T-shirt - 2
* Plain White T-shirt - 1
* PE Shorts (includes one worn on first day) - 2
* Plain Black Track Pants - 1
Undergarments - Sufficient
* Plain White Socks (ankle socks not allowed) - Sufficient
* Plain White Canvas Shoes - 1 pair

Others
* Digital thermometer (working condition) - 1
Toiletries (E.g. toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, etc) - Sufficient
Prickly heat powder - 1 can
Bath towel - Sufficient
Cutleries (E.g. fork & spoon, can opener, etc) - 1 set
Windbreaker - Optional
* 1.5 litre bottle (drinking bottle) - 1
* Poncho (army green only) - 1
* Torchlight with batteries - 1 set
* Twine (Grade 3) - 1 ball
* Scissors - 1 pair
Rag (area cleaning) - Sufficient
Plastic bags / Ziploc bags (for clean & soiled clothes) - Sufficient
Insect repellent - Optional
* Writing materials (E.g. notebook and stationery) - Compulsory
EZ-link card - Compulsory
* Spectacle hooks / bands for campers with spectacles - Compulsory
Sandals/Slippers - Optional (for wash up)
Personal medication (must surrender to Teacher Officers upon commencement of camp) - If any
Cash - $10 (Max)

Note
- Cadets are to report punctually at 0800 in PT Kit on first day of camp outside NPCC room.
- Cadets are to be properly groomed (hair, nails, etc) based on school rules spelled out in the student organiser. Failing which, the teacher officers will have the authority to trim the cadet’s hair and nails. All other school rules will apply.
- Cadets will have to face the consequences should he fails to bring compulsory items marked with an asterisk (*) shown above.
- Irrelevant items (e.g. valuables, electronic items, games, food etc) will be confiscated by the teacher officers during the bag check.
